Arrived in Smithville for AC Maintenance, Upon my arrival I completed repair HN13E. I installed new voltage enhancement system, performance enhancement system, voltage distribution system, redid wire terminals, chemically washed the condenser coil, charged the system to its proper calibration with 2lbs of refrigerant. I then ran a performance and safety testing on the system finding everything it be operating properly at this time.

Arrived in Smithville for AC Maintenance, Upon my arrival I spoke with the customer about their concerns with the system leaking water. Performing my diagnostics I found that the water removal system was not backed up. I checked the system primary drain pan and found that the condensation is building up in the opposite side of the drain port. The systems emergency drain pan is no longer sealed tight and is allowing the condensation to leak from underneath. The condensation is entering the emergency drain pan due to the system being extremely rusted on the bottom side and the system is now starting to come apart in the center between the coil and blower housing. Given the systems are my recommendation is to have the unit replaced and a new emergency drain pan installed. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and they would like a consultation set up.

Arrived in Smithville for AC Repair, Upon my arrival I performed my diagnostics on system #1 to find the cause of the unit freezing over. I found that the system was low on refrigerant. Spoke with the customer about what I found and went over adding refrigerant back to the system. Customer approved to have the system recalibrated to the manufacturer specifications on the refrigerant charge. I added 3lbs of R410a to the system to bring it back to proper performance standards. After completing this I verified the systems operation and found it to be performing very well at this time. Customer would like the office to reach out and set up a leak search and go over the pricing of the leak search.

Found unit #1 heat transfer media coil completely frozen and we were unable to perform an evaluation. An after hours was scheduled to perform a diagnostic. System #2 the voltage enhancement system for the outdoor condenser was found low. The customer wants to wait until 6/7/25 to make a decision about replacing the voltage enhancement system.

Arrived in Smithville for AC Maintenance, Upon arrival we spoke with the customer and they explained that the system was not cooling properly during our diagnostic we found that the breaker to the outdoor unit was tripped. During further investigation we found that the refrigerant pumping system was shorted to ground. The customers windows would not accommodate our window units. We will return on 6/4/25 to perform repairs. The repairs will be covered under the full warranty.

Recommended adding refrigerant to the system to bring the pressures to manufacture specifications. Customer approved over the phone to add refrigerant to the system today. System took 2 pounds to bring to proper calibration and found no signs of any leaks today. r

Arrived in Smithville for AC Maintenance, Today I arrived and found primary flood safety triggered, however drain pan dry. I stress tested drain using 2 gallons of water, system flows well. I then checked indoor heat exchanger and found that it’s clean, filters are dirty but not terribly, system cooling pressures are completely on target. I think the drain may have been clogged by sludge at one point or another and as the day progressed worked its way out. Customer will keep an eye on it and call if issues persist.

Arrived in Smithville for AC Repair, Upon my arrival I spoke with the customer about their concerns of a blank thermostat. I performed my diagnostics finding the water removal system was backed up causing the auxiliary float switch to trip. While I was inspecting the rest of the indoor system I did find bacterial growth inside the air handler. I spoke with the customer about what I found today and went over repair options. They were not interested in having Solaris installed but would like the system cleaned. Customer chose to go with HK2C and signed the system up for maintenance. With the options the customer chose today I did clear the water removal system and treated it. I then verified system came on and was operating properly in cooling. Moving forward we will need to schedule a return visit for 1 tech 2.5/3 hours to perform the approved repairs. System is in an attic so the morning time would be best for this repair.

Performing a diagnostics I found that the insulation in the blower box had came loose restricting the air movement system causing the coil to freeze up. I secured the insulation back to the furnace using metal strapping and tested the system. I found the system is operating within the manufacture specifications at this time. I also cleared the water from the emergency drain pan while on site.

During installation I removed all tape from the paneling and I installed new gasket material to seal the air leaks. The customers and I went over the completed work and they are very pleased with the results.

Before starting the evaluation the customer asked that I look into a beeping sound coming from the attic space. I found that the leak breaker on her water heater is the alarm she is hearing. This has nothing to do with any of our equipment and she will be calling a plumber to take a look at it. Completing the evaluation I replaced the cartridge for the iFLO pro and found everything to be operating properly in on the performance and safety aspects of the equipment.
