Cedar Creek AC Repair Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time. The indoor heat transfer media coil and air circulation system could use a cleaning. Spoke with the customer about my recommendations and she would like to hold off for now since she is selling the home.

Cedar Creek Air Conditioning Evaluated an HVAC system off Highway 21 near Cedar Creek where the thermostat display went completely blank and left the home without cooling. Tested the wiring harness and found a blown low-voltage fuse caused by a shorted contactor coil on an older York AC unit. Replaced the pitted contactor, swapped the fuse, and sealed the exposed control wire connections. The digital thermostat powered right back up and instantly initiated a cooling cycle to lower the home's temperature.

Cedar Creek Heat Pump Upon my arrival, I performed a one X system check on the main downstairs Lennox gas furnace. The customer stated that he had a home inspection and the inspector found the temperature split to be off at only 9°. Upon my investigation, I found the temperature to be well within the manufacturer specifications at 22.5°. I found no other issues with the system. Everything is working to manufacture specifications. I did, however, note that there were only water safety switches in the auxiliary drain pan. I informed the customer it would be better to have a water safety coming off of the primary water removal system line. The customer is going to get with the builder of the home to see about having the water safety switch installed. The customer was also interested in UV protection against odors and bacterial growth. I presented options to Install the Solaris bacterial prevention system. The customer wants the options sent over via email to review.

Cedar Creek Air Conditioning Find my arrival with the customer was concerned that his comfort controller was showing an auxiliary G input shut down code and not cooling. Upon my diagnosis, I found the system to have a blockage in the water removal system, causing the auxiliary pan to fill up and trigger the water safety switch. This switch caused the system to shut down and not come back on until the water was cleared from the auxiliary drain pan informed the customer of my findings presented options for repair. Customer chose the HF3A option. I purged and treated the water removal system, as well as removed all water from the auxiliary drain pan using a vacuum. Tested system for performance and safety and system is cooling to manufacture specifications. Did find the refrigerant pressure to be reading a little high due to the indoor heat load and high outdoor ambient temperatures. The customer signed up for our comfort one plan for both of his systems with the technician on site.

Cedar Creek AC Tune-up Upon our arrival we performed the approved repairs. Recovered all refrigerant from the system, flushed the line set with RX11 flush followed by nitrogen, flushed both coils with nitrogen, installed new refrigerant pressure control, new filter drier, added performance enhancement system float safety switch, purged with nitrogen while brazing, performed a triple evacuation service, brought the system down to a proper vacuum, recharged to manufacture specifications then ran a performance and safety testing. Restored the system to prime condition and found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time.

Cedar Creek Heat Pump Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the system not cooling. Performing my diagnostics the system showed signs of low refrigerant charge at first. I did perform an electronic leak search with no luck. I added some refrigerant to further diagnose to verify the refrigerant pressure control was metering properly and found that it is not. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and went over repair options. A repair was selected and the full payment as well. The office will reach out to schedule our return and we will provide window units until the repair is complete.

Cedar Creek AC Maintenance Upon my arrival, the customer was concerned that the comfort controller was on, but the system did not seem to be running. Upon my diagnosis, I found the water removal system to be clogged, causing the auxiliary drain pan to fill up and trigger the water safety switch. The water safety switch is triggered. It cut the low-voltage to the system not allowing it to operate. I informed the customer my findings and presented options for repair. The customer approved a repair option and I cleared the blockage in the water removal system and installed drain treatment tablets as well as installed an in-line access port for easier access for maintenance. I tested the system for performance and safety and found the system to be operating to manufacture specifications at this time. Inform the tenant it may take a while to cool down since the indoor temperature was 88° upon arrival.

Cedar Creek AC Repair Upon my arrival, I performed the approved repair to replace the indoor heat transfer media coil. Within this repair we also flipped the coil to allow easier access for maintenances and repairs. Performed all tasks within the option selected then ran a performance and safety testing. After finding the switch to the furnaces main high voltage we installed a disconnect in order to complete the testing. System is performing to manufacture specifications at this time.

Found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Customer had a filter to replace the dirty one today but it was the wrong size. I called RMI to get him the right one and the customer will pick it up when RMI calls him with its arrival. Customer is the one purchasing the filter I just helped get the correct one ordered for them.

Cedar Creek Air Conditioner Upon my arrival with the customer was concerned that there was a whistling noise coming from the air handler, as well as the system was not reaching the desired temp. My diagnosis I found the system to be very dirty with bacterial growth and dirt. This was causing an airflow issue, not allowing the system to pull air correctly across the heat transfer media coil. This was causing the call to freeze up and not cool the home. I informed the customer my findings and presented options for repair. The customer chose the HK12C option. The customer wants to finance the option and the office will be in contact once approval is complete. System is cooling into the best of its ability given its condition.

Cedar Creek AC Tune-up Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the system leaking water and not cooling well. Performing my diagnostics I found the water removal system restricted and the filters need to be changed. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and went over repair options. With the customers approval I flushed and treated the water removal system, vacuumed the return air box out then tested the system. Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Customer signed the system on the maintenance program.

Cedar Creek AC Service Upon my arrival the customer was concerned that the outdoor system was not running when called for cool. Upon my diagnosis I found the outdoor exhaust removal system had faulted and not coming on when called. This was letting the refrigerant circulation pumping system run without anything to pull heat off of it causing it to shut off on thermal overload. I informed the customer of my findings and presented options for repair. The customer chose the HC7D option. I removed the old faulted exhaust removal system and installed a new Azure motor from the truck. I replaced the voltage enhancement system and added a performance enhancement system along with a new power protection system. I chemically cleaned the outdoor heat transfer media coil and washed off with water. I cleaned out the electrical panel and re secured all wires inside the panel. Tested system for performance and safety. System cooling properly at this time. WO-TNFR701851

When adjusting the charge I found the refrigerant pressure control still metering improperly. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and went over his different repair options. An option was selected while on site, 50% down payment collected and all 3 systems have been renewed for maintenance. The office will reach out to schedule our return for the repair.

Cedar Creek Air Conditioner Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, replaced the air filters, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Recommend speaking with a comfort specialist. Currently the air circulation system is operating right at the max manufacture recommended amp draw which is causing it to run at a higher RPMs giving an inaccurate reading on pressures and temperature split and the exhaust removal system is operating outside the max manufacture recommended amp draw. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and they would like the repair options emailed over and a comfort specialist to come out to decide how they would like to move forward.

Cedar Creek AC Tune-up I found that the outdoor exhaust removal system was locked up and the outdoor voltage enhancement system was low. I spoke with the client about the repair and that it is risky on a 17 year old system and she wanted to do the repair. I replaced the motor and the voltage enhancement system and tested the system and found it to be cooling. It was hot inside and outside so the pressures were a little bit off. I told her to see how it run and if it struggles we may need to add r22 refrigerant. I also spoke with the client about replacing the mobile home furnace system with a heat pump system. She said she wants to be put in a list for when we have deals in the fall/winter.

Cedar Creek Air Conditioner Arrived at a home in Cedar Creek where the homeowner had been on portable units in the back bedrooms for two summers because the existing central system never reached those rooms adequately. The bedrooms were a later addition to the home and the original ductwork had never been extended to cover them properly. Rather than trying to modify aging ductwork, installed a heat pump mini-split system sized to handle the addition, mounted the indoor wall unit for optimal airflow across both back rooms, set the outdoor compressor on a composite pad, ran refrigerant lines and wiring through an exterior wall sleeve, and tested cooling and heating modes before leaving. Back bedrooms are part of the house now instead of something the homeowners just endure every summer.

I found the system low on refrigerant due a leak on the indoor heat transfer media coil. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and my recommendations. They would like to set an appointment with the comfort specialist to quote replacing both systems.

Cedar Creek AC Maintenance On my arrival, the customer is concerned that the indoor fan was running, but not cooling the house. Upon my diagnosis, I found the indoor air movement system to be dirty, but I found no other abnormalities in the system. There were no fault codes pertaining to the issue described. System cooling to the best of its ability with the dirty air movement system blades.

Flushed and treated the water removal systems, replaced air filters on the upstairs system and the dehumidifier, washed condenser coils using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinets then verified system safety and performance. Found the guest house and the upstairs system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. The downstairs system I found the exhaust removal system is still surging. Customer would like the bandaid option emailed over for the exhaust removal system so he can think about moving forward. I will get availability of the parts the have the option emailed over.
