Cedar Creek Heat pump tune up Upon my arrival, customer was concerned, cooling would not come on. During my diagnosis, I found the comfort controller to be set on heat, put comfort controller back to auto and explained to customer how the auto function worked. Tested system in cooling and everything was operating to manufacturers specifications. Filter was clean and both heat transfer media coils were in good shape. Informed customer to give us a call if issue happens again.

Cedar Creek Furnace repair Upon my arrival, I evaluated one Bryant gas furnace system, and one carrier gas furnace system. Tested both systems for performance and safety, cleaned out electrical cabinet and cleaned off flame sensor with abrasive cloth. Both gas furnace systems performing to manufacture specifications at this time. I also evaluated one Mitsubishi mini split system, tested system for performance and safety and cleaned both media filters. Could not wash outdoor unit off with water due to hoses and spigot being disconnected for upcoming freeze. Will spend extra time cleaning off all outdoor units on spring evaluation. Found no issues and no recommendations at this time.

Informed customer of my findings, and customer wants options for Solaris UV bacterial prevention sent over to them along with pictures. Customer plans to make a choice by today. System heating properly at this time.

Cedar Creek Heat pump tune up Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet the verified system safety and performance. I found that when the system was installed the proper drip tray was never installed on the internal drain pan causing water to drip off the coil into the system. I also found that the refrigerant pressure control is faulted causing the unit to have high subcool and high superheat resulting in inefficient operation. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and they approved HI2E. A return will be scheduled through the office once parts are received.

Upon my arrival I spoke with the customer about their concerns with the system not heating. Performing my diagnostics I found the control was not set up for heat pump but the customer believes he may have messed the settings up. After setting the comfort control for heat pump operation I tested the system finding the emergency heat and heat pump are performing to manufacture specifications at this time. I spoke with the customer about my findings and also went over that the system is not wired to dehumidifier but does have the capability. He did not wish to correct it today but will consider it in the near future. The customer stated they did not give it enough time possibly for the time delay to shut off. Went over our maintenance program and this is something he seems to be interested in but has a lot going on at the moment with tomorrow’s surgery. I will follow up after allowing time to heal and see if there are any more questions regarding this. Location has 2 heat pump systems.

Cedar Creek Ac service When I arrived the client stated that the main 60 amp breaker for the indoor system was tripping occasionally. I tested the system in auxiliary heat and cool mode, looked for damaged or shorted wires and didn’t find any thing to be concerned about at this time. The client is going to call an electrician to replace the breaker.

I found that the voltage enhancement system is outside manufacture specifications and the indoor system is not equipped with power protection. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and advised on the voltage enhancement system needing replacement. Customer did not wish to view options at this time.

Cedar Creek Furnace repair Upon my arrival I found the indoor air movement system motor to be faulty. Motor would try to run and cut off and continue to retry. Recommend replacing the motor presented options for repair to customer. Customer chose the hc14c option. Will return with parts for repair.

Cedar Creek Air conditioning service Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 furnace system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, cleaned the flame safety sensor, verified proper fuel delivery, checked for CO then verified system safety and performance. I found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. No CO detector is present in the home and the customer will be getting one for the home. While onsite customer stated the outdoor system has been operating a lot louder then it was prior to the last repair performed. I checked the systems electrical components and found them within manufacture specifications at this time. I advised that if this happens again to inform the office so we can schedule a service call to diagnose the issue. Currently to cook outside with the rain and cooler weather to get an accurate diagnosis.

Performing my diagnostics I found the water removal system restricted preventing proper removal of the condensation. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and recommended signing the system back up on the maintenance program. Customer approved the clearing and treated of the water removal system and signed up for the maintenance. I performed the approved repairs, stress tested the water removal system, treated the system then ran a performance and safety testing finding the system cooling properly at this time.

Stated it would turn for a couple seconds then turn off. After cycling power the air movement system has ran correctly. Informed customer if it happens again don’t cycle power and give us a call and we will come out and diagnose the system. System and air movement system operating to manufactures specifications at this time.
