Upon my arrival I performed the approved repair for replacing the comfort control. Installed new comfort control then went through the settings for proper setup. Ran an airflow verification and zoning test. Found that zone 3 that serves the kitchen area is faulted. I was able to manually open it so it could revive air flow. When I was onsite yesterday I struck a light pole leaving the property that was out of my line of sight. I spoke with the customer about the light pole and the damper concerns. He is going to look at them both when they visit next in February then get back to us.

Upon my arrival I checked into the customers concerns with the comfort control not switching zones. Removing the comfort control from the wall I found that the plastic piece in the button has broke off and is not making contact with the little black button on the control board. These comfort controls are no longer manufactured. I spoke with the customer about my findings and they approved to have a new comfort control installed. The office will reach out for scheduling.

Heater tune up Smithville Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 2 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal systems, washed the condenser coils using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinets then verified system safety and performance. Found both systems performing to manufacture specifications at this time. The main system has developed bacteria growth inside the air handler. This is not something the customer wishes to deal with at this time due to the time of year it is and other expenses that hold priority. Showed the customer how the auto feature works on both thermostats.

Smtihville Heat pump repair I performed the heating evaluation in Smithville on the gas furnace. This system is older and has signs of deterioration. The gas valve could not be adjusted because the spring is stuck. I spoke with the client about several of my concerns and let the client know I don’t recommend putting money into a repair and that I feel replacement is the best option at this point. For now the system is operating safely. The client will also get some carbon monoxide detectors installed in the home.

Smithville Furnace repair Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 straight electric system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, replaced the air filter, checked systems safeties then verified system safety and performance. I found that the heat transfer media coil and the air circulation system have become dirty due to a restricted air filter allowing dirt and hair to pass through on the outside. All other operations for the system are performing to manufacture specifications. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and he would like the options emailed over to have the system cleaned and brought back to manufacture specifications. Once cleaning have been performed I advise to use a merv 11 filter and the system is able to move up from a 1” filter to a 2” filter

Smithville Furnace repair I performed the heating evaluation on the straight electric system and found the system operating properly. The indoor unit has dirt and bacterial growth and the home owner is aware that replacing is in the near future.

I found that bacterial growth has started to form inside the air handler and on the air circulation system. I recommend having the indoor system cleaned then treated for bacterial growth. I will email over options for cleanings and options for bacterial prevention systems plus cleanings depending on the level chosen. Left a pamphlet on the refrigerator that goes over Solaris bacterial prevention system and the benifits it offers.

I found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Advise on adding a carbon monoxide detector in the home.

Customer was concerned that he said comfort controller to 72° in heating mode when he woke up this morning. The house was at 80°. During my diagnosis, I found the heat kit control system to be faulty. Present a customer with options for repair, customer chose the HD6C option. Replaced faulty electric heat kit control system. Replaced loose or burned wired terminals. Replaced 10 mfd indoor voltage enhancement system, and performed safety and performance testing. System heating properly at this time.

Smithville Furnace service Performed one system check on carrier heat pump system. Checked system safety, and performance system is operating to manufacturers specifications at this time upon my inspection. I did find the air handler cabinet to be quite dirty and have a significant amount of bacterial growth recommended a cleaning for the air handler cabinet as well as installing Solaris UV protection. Customer wants options for both emailed to them.

Smithville Heater service Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns of the tripped breaker. I found that the wire going to the fan relay came off making contact with metal causing the breaker to trip. Inspecting the wire terminal it seemed that it was not making a very tight connection originally. I replaced the wire terminal and found the system operating properly at this time.
