Paige AC Service Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 2 multi head mini split systems. Flushed and treated the water removal systems, washed condenser coils, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinets then verified system safety and performance. Found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time. 2 blower wheels on the guest house are a little dirty but not enough to make corrective actions away this time.

Found the air movement system amp draw operating outside manufacture specifications and bacterial growth starting inside the air handler. Spoke with the customer about my concerns. She would like the options emailed over again for Solaris and we will be getting the air movement system ordered to return and replace under 10 yr P&L. The bacterial growth left unattended can eventually lead to restricted air flow and poor indoor air quality.

Underfeeding refrigerant into the heat transfer media coil causing it to freeze up. Informed customer of my findings and presented options for repair. Customer chose the HI2A option. Office will be in contact to schedule a repair date and time.

Found The indoor air movement system to be dirty with bacterial growth as well as the assembly and air handler housing itself dirty with bacterial growth. Informed customer of my findings and recommended adding SOLARIS UV bacterial prevention system along with pulling and cleaning the air movement system. The bacterial growth present may negatively impact indoor air quality; if left unaddressed, it can also restrict airflow within the system, resulting in reduced heating and cooling efficiency. Also found the outdoor voltage enhancement system to be reading lower than the manufacturers parameters. Recommended having it replaced.

Paige AC Tune-up Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 Bryant heat pump system and 1 carrier straight cool system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications for both systems. Flushed and treated the water removal systems. Cleaned the electrical cabinets and washed units using water. Found unit #2 (heat pump) heat transfer media coil to be getting dirty with bacterial growth. Informed customer of my findings and recommended having it cleaned. The bacterial growth present may negatively impact indoor air quality; if left unaddressed, it can also restrict airflow within the system, resulting in reduced heating and cooling efficiency. Customer wants options for cleaning sent over to her. Will follow up on Thursday to answer any questions and discuss options. Both systems cooling at this time.

Paige Air conditioning service Upon my arrival, I checked into the concerns with the blower staying on constantly and not shutting off until the breaker was reset. Performing my diagnostics I found that the sequencer we replaced had faulted staying closed, keeping the auxiliary heating system running, which caused the air movement system to continuously run. I replaced the sequence under warranty from the repair that was chosen, then tested the system finding everything operating properly at this time.

Informed customer of my findings and recommended installing a SOLARIS UV bacterial prevention system. Customer declined Solaris at this time but wants options sent to refer to in the future. Customer also wants our comfort specialist to come out and take a look at the ductwork, and give an estimate on a reduct. System heating properly at this time.

Paige Heater repair Upon my arrival i performed a 6 month checkup on 1 straight cool system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet the verified system safety and performance. Found both filters are original from the install and are very restricted. I advise to replace the filters and consider having the system cleaned. Customer mentioned an odd odor when the system is in operation. A cleaning should help remove the odor and home air purification would be a step into the right direction.

Found no other issues and no other recommendations.

If it drops anymore, I recommend replacement.

Paige Furnace service Upon my arrival, customer was concerned that the heat would come on and stay on even with comfort control system, not calling for heat. Upon my diagnosis, I found the electric control system sequencer to be faulty and stuck on. Informed customer of my findings and presented options for repair. Customer chose the HD5A option. Swapped faulty sequencer with new one. Tested system for performance and safety. System shutting down when it’s supposed to and heating properly at this time.

Paige Heater tune up I performed the heating evaluation on the 16 year old heat pump system. The system is operating properly at this time but I did speak with the client about the age of the system and let her know if she has any issues with it let us know.

Paige Heater service I found that the indoor air movement system is getting the correct voltage but is seized. I spoke with the client about his different options and he chose the Hc5b. We will pick up the motor today and replace. The client has paid in full.

Paige Heater tune up Upon my arrival, customer was concerned the indoor air movement system would make a loud squealing noise when in heating mode. Upon my diagnosis, I found the indoor air movement system to be leaking oil and to be the cause of the grinding noise. Gave customer options for repair. Also gave customer options for a new system due to the age and condition of the current system. Customer wants some time to think it over and will be in contact with the office.

Customer was concerned about a humming noise coming from the condenser outside. Office will be in contact about sending someone out to put some isolation pads under the unit to reduce noise and vibration. no other issues or recommendations at this time.

Paige Air conditioning repair I performed the heating evaluation on the propane furnace in the attic and found everything to be operating properly at this time. I did let the client know I highly recommend a carbon monoxide detector be installed inside the home.

I found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time but there is bacterial growth present inside the air handler. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and she is unsure whether or not she will be keeping the home so does not wish to have Solaris installed. She will take a look at options for cleaning of the system and possibly consider going that route.
