Cedar Creek Heat Pump. Springtime AC Maintenance: Arrived for a seasonal AC tune-up before the first stretch of warm spring weather. Removed debris from inside the condenser cabinet, rinsed pollen and dirt from the outdoor coil, checked the dual-run capacitor readings, and inspected the contactor for pitting. Flushed the condensate drain with treatment solution, replaced the return filter, and verified proper temperature split across the evaporator coil during a full cooling cycle.

Upon my arrival in Cedar Creek AC Service I evaluated 1 carrier gas furnace system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Customer was concerned that the startup noise of the outdoor condenser was very loud. Found the condenser to be pulling high amps on startup. Installed a performance enhancement system to bring down the startup amps from 92 to 66 amps. Sound no longer heard on startup. System cooling to manufactures specifications at this time.

Upon my arrival in Cedar Creek AC Tune-up. I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, replaced air filters, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found the indoor air circulation system and heat transfer media coil need to be cleaned, bacterial growth inside the system and the voltage distribution system chard/pitted. Customer approved to have the voltage distribution system replaced while onsite. The other repairs will have to wait awhile with the difficult time she is currently going through. System is now performing to manufacture specifications aside from needing to be cleaned.

Customer showed stated he was finding small plastic debris in the vent registers. I found some of the tape had came loose from the supply plenum. Resealed with silver tape to prevent any further debris. System cooling properly at this time.

Upon my arrival in Cedar Creek AC Service. I evaluated 1 carrier gas furnace and 1 Bryant gas furnace and 1 Mitsubishi ductless mini split. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications for all 3 systems. Flushed and treated the water removal systems. Cleaned the electrical cabinets and washed all units using water. Found no issues at this time. No recommendations at this time.

Upon my arrival in Cedar Creek Heat Pump I checked into the concerns with water leaking. I found the water leaking is coming from the water heater that’s located in the same area as the air handler. I helped the customer remove the access panel so she could see where the water was leaking from. Advised to turn the water off to stop the leaking until the water heater is replaced and I turned the breaker off to the water heater to prevent burning up any heating elements. They did sign up for the maintenance program while onsite.

Cedar Creek Ac repair Upon my arrival, customer was concerned the outdoor exhaust removal system was not running properly, and system was not cooling. Upon my diagnosis, I found the outdoor exhaust removal. System was faulted. presented options for repair and customer chose the HC7B option. I replaced the outdoor exhaust removal system and also replaced the outdoor voltage enhancement system. Tested system for performance and safety. System cooling to manufacture specifications at this time.

Cedar Creek Heater repair I replaced the voltage distribution, voltage enhancement, circuit board, exhaust removal system, redid wire terminals and cleaned the system. After the repair I did the cooling evaluation and found everything working to manufacture specifications.

Cedar Creek Heat pump tune up I found that the outdoor air movement system is bad. I spoke with the client about the age and condition of her system and she chose to go with the repair at this time. HC13E I will return and do the repair tomorrow afternoon. The client has paid in full.

Cedar Creek Furnace repair Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 carrier heat pump system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system. Cleaned the electrical cabinet and washed unit using water. Found The refrigerant levels to be reading low performed a leak search with my leak detector. Did not get any hits with the leak detector. Added 2 pounds of 410 a refrigerant after installation of 410 a refrigerant system. Refrigerant levels were back to manufacture specifications. Informed customer of my findings let customer know upon next evaluation. We will compare pressures. If pressures have gone down on next evaluation we will perform an extensive leak search. System cooling to manufacture specifications at this time.

Cedar Creek Air conditioning repair Upon our arrival we performed the approved repairs to install a new auxiliary heating system and installation of Solaris. Removed the air circulation system to be broken down for cleaning, chemically cleaned the heat transfer media coil and the air handler cabinet removing all bacterial growth from inside. Installed UV germicidal bulbs, Solaris PCO air purifier, Solaris power module, secured all wiring, redid wire terminals, installed new 20kw auxiliary heating system, flushed the water removal system, then ran a performance and safety testing finding everything operating to manufacture specifications at this time. Customer did have to leave for a doctors appointment and asked that I lock the door when finished. The door is locked and I verified before leaving the home.

Cedar Creek Heat pump tune up Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 furnace system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, verified proper fuel delivery, cleaned the flame safety sensor, checked for CO then verified system safety and performance. Found that air circulation system is dirty which can lead to inefficient heating and cooling if it continues to collect. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and this is not something they can move forward with at this time. There wasn’t a CO detector in the home but the customer did order one.

Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Spoke with the customer about the bacterial growth present inside the system. Given the units age the customer said if they were to put any money into cleanings he would rather upgrade the equipment which is not something n they are ready for at this time.

Spoke with the customer and she will talk her husband about what they want to do moving forward.

He does not wish to move forward today but would like to revisit this at the next evaluation when he’s got a few more things paid off.

Cedar Creek Furnace repair Upon our arrival we performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found that the system to be extremely dirty. Highly recommend having the heat transfer media coil pulled for cleaning, the air circulation system pulled for cleaning and the interior of the air handler cleaned and treated. The air circulation system is currently extremely out of balance causing a major vibration within the system. Customer asked to have the options emailed over so she can speak things over with her husband.

Found the auxiliary heating system needs to be replaced, currently has 3 failed heating elements and 1 of the 3 had a burnt wire. I removed the wire to prevent any potential phase to ground. I also found bacterial growth inside the system and recommend it be cleaned then treated.
