Upon my arrival I performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, installed new iFLO cartridge, replaced the air filter, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. Spoke with the customer about the bacterial growth present inside the system. Given the units age the customer said if they were to put any money into cleanings he would rather upgrade the equipment which is not something n they are ready for at this time.

Removed the air movement system to be broken down for deep cleaning, deep cleaned the heat transfer media coil, cleaned and treated the bacterial growth inside the air handler, redid wire terminals, reassembled the system then performed the cool checkup. Flushed and treated the water removal system, replaced air filters, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time.

He does not wish to move forward today but would like to revisit this at the next evaluation when he’s got a few more things paid off.

Found everything performing to manufacture specifications at this time.

Cedar Creek Furnace repair Upon our arrival we performed a 6 month checkup on 1 heat pump system. Flushed and treated the water removal system, washed the condenser coil using water, cleaned and treated the electrical cabinet then verified system safety and performance. Found that the system to be extremely dirty. Highly recommend having the heat transfer media coil pulled for cleaning, the air circulation system pulled for cleaning and the interior of the air handler cleaned and treated. The air circulation system is currently extremely out of balance causing a major vibration within the system. Customer asked to have the options emailed over so she can speak things over with her husband.

Found the auxiliary heating system needs to be replaced, currently has 3 failed heating elements and 1 of the 3 had a burnt wire. I removed the wire to prevent any potential phase to ground. I also found bacterial growth inside the system and recommend it be cleaned then treated.

Found the system performing to manufacture specifications at this time. During the evaluation I found the power protection failed and the comfort control way out of calibration. While onsite I installed a new power protection under warranty and made adjustments to the comfort control by plus 9°. The comfort control was acting strange in the calibration so we will check this again at the next eval and if there are still issues presenting at that time we will install a new comfort control.

Found the current UV protection system to be no longer working, recommend installing SOLARIS UV protection to protect against any further bacterial growth. Customer was in a meeting, will call on Wednesday to explain findings and go over options for Solaris UV protection installation. Found no further issues no further recommendations at this time.

Cedar Creek Heater tune up I performed the heating evaluation on the closet heat pump system and found it operating properly at this time. Water hoses are all frozen and could not wash the outdoor unit at this time.

Customer currently has other expenses to take care of from a recent surgery and will have to take some time to recoup from that before moving forward with any corrective actions. Will set a follow up for further down the road to answer any questions.

Found the air movement system to be very dirty with bacterial growth, also need to move one fleet duct to the side of the supply plenum instead of the end cap to help with airflow regulation. Informed customer of my findings and presented options for cleaning and moving the duct. Customer chose the HK11C option. The office will be in contact with the customer on a date and time to return to perform cleaning. No other issues or recommendations at this time.
