Bastrop Air Conditioner Upon my arrival i checked into the concerns of water leaking from the ceiling in the utility room. I found that the down stairs system was leaking a 90 fitting about the utility room. I glued the pipe back into the fitting then stress tested the system finding no more leaks at this time.

I found the heat transfer media coil to have dead spots due to restrictions in the delivery tubes, not allowing the system to run as efficiently as it should. Informed customer of my findings and recommended replacing the heat transfer media coil. The customer chose the HL1B option. Office will schedule a return time to come back out and replace the heat transfer media coil.

Bastrop AC Repair Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with one of the bedrooms being warmer than the rest. I found the comfort control slightly out of adjustment so I made corrections. Pressures were operating at manufacture specifications. The system was set for 75°F and it was displaying 73°F in the home. I ran the system and found good airflow coming out of the room and a good temperature coming from the supply vent. Recommended that when gaming in the room that he should open the door to let some of the warmer air out and not run as many fans in the room because it will cause higher humidity which will lead to the room being uncomfortable.

Bastrop Heat Pump Upon my arrival i checked into the concerns with the system leaking water. Performing my diagnostics the systems seems to be performing to manufacture specifications but I am unable to fully verify this due to heavily restricted air filters. The restricted air filters are creating a high static pressure which I believe is causing excessive sweating on the ducting and the coil. Customer is going to replace the air filters her self if she is able to if not she will give us a call to come out and install the new filters. She signed up for the maintenance program today.

Bastrop AC Service Upon my arrival I checked into the customer concerns with no air flow. I found that the air movement system is faulted causing the system to freeze. I spoke with the customers about my concerns with the air movement system and the bacterial growth inside the system. Given the systems age they wanted to get it up and running so I could verify everything was operating to manufacture specifications before moving forward with any kind of cleaning options. After verifying system is performing to manufacture specifications I went over Solaris with them and they chose to move forward with HH14C. System is now cooling to manufacture specifications at this time. The office will reach out to schedule the return for the Solaris and the evaluation.

Bastrop Heat Pump Upon my arrival, the customer was concerned about a fishy odor coming from the air handler unit when the heat was turned on. Upon my diagnosis, I found the heat transfer media coil to be dirty with bacterial growth as well as the air movement system assembly and wires. When in heating mode the heat transfer media coil heats up this bacterial growth and is causing the smell. Informed the customer of my findings and recommended installing Solaris UV bacterial prevention system or having the heat transfer medial coil, clean and treated. Customer wants options sent over via email so they can speak with our partner and decide on an option. Customer is also interested in our comfort one agreement. Customer plans to sign up for comfort one agreement upon return.

Bastrop AC Tune-up Upon my arrival, I found the voltage enhancement system faulted preventing the outdoor exhaust removal system from operating. I spoke with a customer about my concerns and they are approved to repair wall on site after the repair. I found the system low on refrigerant and revisited The customer with my concerns. With the customers permission, I recharge the system back to manufacture specifications using 7 pounds of R410 a refrigerant system is currently cooling. We were able to find where the system is leaking and will email over repair options tomorrow.

Bastrop Air Conditioner Upon my arrival, the customer was concerned the system was freezing up periodically. Upon my diagnosis, I found the indoor heat transfer media coil and the outdoor heat transfer media coil both to be caked with bacterial growth and dust and pet hair buildup. The indoor air movement system is restricted with bacterial growth and dust buildup as well. Informed customer of my findings and recommended having the indoor heat transfer media coil and air movement system pulled and chemically cleaned and treated. Also chemically cleaning the outdoor heat transfer media coil as well. Presented options to the customer and he wants the options sent over via email to discuss financing with family. The bacterial growth present may negatively impact the indoor air quality as well as reduce the cooling efficiency of the system. The system will continue to freeze up and cause damage to the refrigerant circulation pumping system if left unattended.

Flushed and treated the water removal systems. Swapped out filter for the game house unit supplied by customer. Cleaned the electrical cabinets and washed units using water. Found the Reme Halo UV lamp to be out and non functioning for the east wing unit. Recommended replacing the lamp or removing the Reme Halo system and upgrading to the SOLARIS UV bacterial prevention system. Also found the east wing outdoor voltage distribution system to be getting charred and pitted. Recommended replacing. Found the game houses heat transfer media coil to be dirty with bacterial growth. Recommended adding SOLARIS UV bacterial prevention system and having the heat transfer media coil cleaned and treated. Found no other issues at this time. All systems cooling at this time. Customer wants options sent over via email.

Found the air circulation system dirty and the voltage enhancement system operating outside manufacture specifications. Left unattended can lead to system failure resulting in no cool. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and she would like the options emailed over for the voltage enhancement system.

Bastrop AC Maintenance Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns of water coming from the system. Speaking with the customer water never actually leaked from the system they just noticed it building up inside the condensation pan. I informed the customer that this is normal for the style of coil they have due to the height the company designed the drain port at. I did find high pressures on the system due to a restricted condenser coil. I did a quick wash with his water hose while onsite and advised on our maintenance program. He does want get it but would like me to follow up in May about it. System is currently cooling at this time.

Bastrop AC Service Upon my arrival I spoke with the customer about their concerns with the thermostat being blank. I found that the water removal system became restricted causing the auxiliary float safety switch to trip. I spoke with the customer about my findings and went over the water removal system needing to be cleared. A repair was approved, I flushed the water removal system, stress tested with water then treated the drain pan. System is now flowing properly at this time. We spoke briefly about adding UV lights to the drain pan to help kill off the growth that’s is causing the restrictions within the water removal system. I will get with the lead technician and work on getting the option emailed over.
