Job Locations and Reviews
Professional and friendly, best customer experience I have had in years. Will definitely refer others if the need arises.
Upon my arrival, the customer was concerned that his indoor air movement system was only working intermittently. On my diagnosis, I found the indoor voltage enhancement system to be vaulted and reading well below manufacturers parameters. I also found the indoor air movement system to be extremely dirty and restricted due to bacterial growth and dust buildup. I informed the customer my findings and presented options for repair. The customer chose the HN10E option. I pulled and chemically cleaned the indoor air movement system. I treated the indoor heat transfer media coil and pan. Replaced the indoor voltage enhancement system, and redid any loose or charred wire terminals. Reinstalled all components back into system and cleaned up wires. Tested system for performance and safety. System cooling properly at this time.
Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the system shutting down. Performing my diagnostics I did find signs of a low refrigerant charge. I performed a leak search at the indoor unit and did not find any leaks at this time. Given the systems the customer described I found that the A2L sensor is faulted causing the system to go into dissipation mode, which will shut the outdoor unit off and run continuous fan. Customer approved for us to return and install a A2L sensor then run a performance and safety testing.
Arrived at a home in the Pecan Park neighborhood in Bastrop where the homeowner had moved in earlier this spring and wanted to get a proper tune-up done before the worst of summer hit. Cleaned the condenser coil, tested the dual-run capacitor and contactor, tightened electrical connections at the disconnect and air handler, checked refrigerant pressures, replaced the air filter, and flushed the condensate drain that was already showing early algae growth from the humidity. Temperature split across the evaporator came in right where it needed to be. System's dialed in and ready for whatever August throws at it.
Dispatched to a home in the Tahitian Village neighborhood in Bastrop where the homeowner had been dealing with noticeably more dust on every surface and her family's allergy symptoms had gotten worse as summer wore on. Cedar and oak pollen plus the dry Texas air had been compounding through an inadequate filtration setup for months. Installed a Carrier Infinity Air Purifier inside the air handler, connected it to a properly switched power source, and verified operation through a full blower cycle before leaving. Reviewed what to expect as the system starts reducing airborne contaminants. Going to make a real difference, especially with cedar season coming back around in the fall.
Responded to a home in the Hunters Crossing community in Bastrop where a previous company had been out twice and just kept topping off refrigerant without ever locating the actual leak. Ran a thorough inspection and found a pinhole leak at a flare fitting on the liquid line -the kind of slow loss that doesn't show up without a real leak search. Repaired the fitting, pressure-tested with nitrogen, pulled a vacuum, and recharged the system to manufacturer spec. Walked the homeowner through exactly what had been happening, so they weren't left in the dark. System's holding charge and cooling correctly. No more service calls that don't solve anything!

Bastrop Air Conditioning Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the HVAC system leaking water in the master bedroom. I found that the leak is not coming from the duct itself. The leak has to be coming from the roof. Customer stated that the first sign they saw was during a hard rain then when they came back from out of town they noticed more water marks around the area. They were unaware that it rained again this past weekend while there were out of town. They will be reaching out to a roofer to have this issue resolved. Spoke briefly over maintenance and informed customer I will email it over for them to discuss. Maintenance agreement is $199.00 per system.

Bastrop Heat Pump Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the system dripping condensation from the guest bathroom vent. I found that the supply bucket was never sealed and the exhaust vent was never sealed around either. I did find that from the few other vents I checked they were not sealed around either. They are building condensation around the sides of them but not dripping from the vents yet. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and went over my recommendations. Today he wanted to just seal around the 2 areas of concern for now and he will be looking to adding exhaust vents into the attics area to help lower the dew point. System is currently cooling to manufacture specifications at this time and I sealed around the 2 areas of concern. Customer is going to think about the maintenance agreement.

Performing my diagnostics I found the water removal system restricted, the auxiliary float safety switches failed and bacterial growth in the system. Spoke with the customer about my concerns and presented repair options. An option was approved for Solaris today. Under this option I flushed the water removal system and helped the customer located exactly where the drain line exits the foundation. It is under the deck covered with dirt. Customer will pull the boards and extend the drain line past the deck. I collected for clearing of the water removal system and the service charge in case they were to change their minds. System is now operational and not leaking at this time. The office will reach out Tuesday to discuss our return to complete the repair.
