Upon my arrival, the customer was concerned that he had previously had an electrician up in the attic to fix an exhaust fan in the electrician, found the air handler and area around the air handler to be wet. Upon my diagnosis, I found the water removal system to be clogged, causing water to back up into the heat transfer media coil pan. This water was being blown throughout the ductwork by the fan, causing extensive water damage inside of the ductwork and underneath the unit. I also found the combustion exhaust removal pipe to not be fully sealed at the roofline. This could also be a reason for the water on the planks around the system. I informed the customer of my findings, presented options to clear the blockage in the water removal system. The customer chose the HF3A option. I removed the blockage from the water removal system and treated the system with bio protect. The customer wants our comfort specialist to come and give estimates on replacing the damaged ductwork. System cool

Returned to job to perform the approved repairs. I released any remaining nitrogen out of the system. I began by removing the old bi flow filter dryer and faulty refrigerant pressure control system. Performed elite test with nitrogen to 350 psi. Use soap bubbles on all joints to ensure no leaks. I performed the triple evacuation service using nitrogen. Pulled a vacuum down to 500 µm. When I arrived the system had several faults. I found that the outdoor exhaust removal system was getting the correct voltage but the motor was not operating. I spoke with the client about her different options and she chose the hc14d. I replaced the voltage distribution, oat thermistor, poc board and the motor. Upon my arrival I checked into the concerns with the system not cooling blower 78°F. While attempting test the system I found that the fresh air control failed preventing normal operation. I was able to wire around it to test the system and found the supply air plenum for the downstairs zone has fallen off dumping conditioned air into the attic. This will result in the hot attic air mixing in with the cool air preventing the home to cool properly. I was unable to secure the zone due only having one set of hands and it being a very tight area. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and went over their repair option. They approved the repair and the office will coordinate our return. Due to the system not being complete sealed pressure readings were not accurate.
Arrived at a home in the Del Valle corridor just off Bastrop Hwy where the homeowner said the ductless mini-split in their back addition had been blowing barely cool air all week and making a grinding noise every time it ramped up. Opened the indoor head unit and found the blower wheel packed solid with dust and lint. The filters hadn't been serviced in years and the imbalance was audible. Cleaned the blower wheel thoroughly, washed the filters, checked refrigerant charge, and tested the unit through all speed settings to confirm it was running quiet and cooling correctly. Room went from miserable to comfortable in one visit.

Upon my arrival I evaluated 1 carrier heat pump system. I verified system safety and performance is to manufacture specifications. Flushed and treated the water removal system.
